I have been working as a PCV driver for East Yorkshire for just short of 4 years now.
I enjoy the job especially the group (spare) I am on. This means I never know more than 3/4 days in advance what routes I will be on or what vehicles I may be driving. The last 10 days has seen me driving National Express coaches, midi buses on local routes, double deckers on Express Rota (York and returns which I am on today) and saloons and deckers on local rotes.
Off to York again at 1755 (X47) then off Tuesday Wednesday (EU hours) as I have been on tachograph a few times in the last 10 days.
Back to work Thursday but don't know what I'm on yet.
